Introduction
The total height of the inner city wall is 10.7 meters, with a wall height of 9 meters and an additional 1.7-meter parapet. The lower part of the wall is built with rammed yellow soil and reaches a height of 6 meters, while the upper part of the wall is made of earth and exceeds 6 meters. Although the wall has experienced more than 600 years of time, it still maintains a considerable degree of integrity and firmness despite some peeling phenomena.
According to legend, the yellow soil used to build the city wall was carefully selected and finely processed. Firstly, high-quality yellow soil was selected and piled up on bluestone slabs, allowing the sunlight to dry and kill the grass seeds.
