Introduction
At the end of 1988, the Great Wall Museum was built, which was the first thematic museum in China to systematically and comprehensively showcase the culture of the Great Wall. Utilizing modern technology, the exhibition of cultural relics includes elements such as sound, light, and electricity, presented in diverse forms. The theme of the museum is "The Great Wall," divided into four parts: "The Spring and Autumn, Warring States Great Wall," "The Qin and Han Great Wall," "The Northern Wei, Sui, Tang, Liao, and Jin Great Wall," and "The Ming Great Wall." This complete display portrays the historical evolution of the Great Wall. In addition, the museum houses a 220.5 square meter oil painting called "A Map of the Great Wall for Ten Thousand Li," which utilizes both realistic and freehand depiction techniques to present the main landscapes of the Chinese Great Wall on canvas, deemed the best of the northwest.
