Introduction

Fuxi Temple, also known as Taihao Palace or Renzong Temple, was first built during the Ming Dynasty in the years 1483-1484. It has undergone nine renovations and is now the only temple in China with a statue of Fuxi. The temple is located along a street and has 10 ancient buildings, including a theater, archway, gate, hall, Taiji temple, bell tower, drum tower, and other structures. It also has six new buildings, such as the exhibition hall and the hall of stone inscriptions, totaling 76 rooms. Every year on the 16th day of the first lunar month, known as Fuxi's birthday, people from Tianshui will visit Fuxi Temple to pay their respects to the legendary ancestor and honor the distant glory of Chinese civilization. They will also inherit and promote Fuxi culture.
