Introduction

Kuiju Lou is a palace-like square earth building that looks magnificent and spectacular from afar, just like the Potala Palace. When viewed from above, the building blends into the mountain ridge behind it, with colorful hues, resembling a fierce tiger descending a mountain. Two windows on the wall of Kuiju Lou give the impression of two tiger eyes, majestic and solemn. The central gate remains closed unless welcoming distinguished guests. The beauty of Kuiju Lou lies not only in its architecture and culture, but also in its art. Sculptures, painted sculptures, and paintings inside the building are vivid, exquisitely crafted, and depict the characteristics of Hakka history and local flavor, including flowers, birds, people, landscapes, pavilions, and stories.
