Introduction

Baogong Park is located on the Huancheng River in the southern part of Hefei city, and includes four attractions: Baogong Temple, Baogong Tomb, Qingfengge, and Fuzhuang. Baogong Temple is the most important building among the four attractions, named after the river it sits on, Baogong River. During the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, the statue was destroyed, but was later rebuilt in the 1980s. Qingfengge was built to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Baogong's birth. It is a 42-meter high Song Dynasty-style building that overlooks the entire Baogong Park. The building regularly hosts opera performances and visitors can also participate in interactive activities. Fuzhuang is located on the eastern island of Baogong River and features the characteristics of the Su, Yang, and Huizhou-style gardens and architecture. Catering and rest areas are also available.
