Introduction

The Kubuqi Shen Guang Xiang Sha Tourist Area in Ordos is a National AA-level tourist attraction located in the central area of the Kubuqi Desert, covering an area of 52 square kilometers. The scenic area is one of the desert adventure areas recommended by the National Tourism Administration and the China Exploration Association. The most fascinating attractions are the huge sounding sand belt and the desert divine light, which combines desert exploration, worship of obo, off-road vehicle races, desert plant viewing, crossing sand dunes roads, and experiencing ethnic customs. This large desert comprehensive tourist area full of psychedelic colors is a popular tourist destination. The area's huge sounding sand belt covers an area of 10 square kilometers, with towering sand dunes and an endless expanse of sand. When you walk in the sand, you will hear a constant buzzing sound. Walking in the desert, you will hear the sound of airplanes passing overhead, which can be heard day and night throughout the year.

Self-Driving: 1. Take the Beijing-Tibet expressway: From Beijing, exit at Gongmiaozi (exit 19, 725km), then drive 10km west on National Highway 110. Turn left at milepost 767 (indicated by a sign) and drive 27km on the Gobi Desert Road. 2. From Lanzhou, exit at Xishanzui (exit 20, 750km) on the Beijing-Tibet expressway, then drive 15km east on National Highway 110. Turn right at milepost 767 (indicated by a sign) and drive 27km on the Gobi Desert Road. 3. Take National Highway 109, turn north at milepost 905 onto the Gobi Desert Road and drive 80km to milepost 28. 4. Take the Rongwu expressway, exit at Xini town and drive north on the Gobi Desert Road to milepost 28. 5. Take the Yellow River Grand Channel, exit at milepost 239, Xini, Duguiterla, and drive south on the Gobi Desert Road to milepost 27.
