Introduction

Erdao Hai is a typical sunken lake that presents various stunning colors due to seasonal changes and complements the colorful calcium carbonate rock formations around it. The water surface is calm and the fish are scarce, while the depths are dark blue and unfathomable. There are numerous underground caves around the lake, and the water is connected to other lakes through caves, resulting in tranquility on the surface but hidden currents below. In the summer, the lake suddenly stirs up huge whirlpools, which can swallow up long pieces of floating wood without a trace.
