Introduction

Zha'ga Waterfall is a calcified waterfall that presents a spectacular view of terraced cascades. Its riverbed is entirely composed of calcium carbonate and it has the highest drop of any calcified waterfall in the country, earning it the nickname of "China's Number One Calcified Waterfall". The waterfall is located upstream from a lake and downstream from a stepped riverbed. The lake water cascades down a massive calcified terrace and then goes through three levels of calcified terraces to create a majestic and thunderous waterfall that is a sight to behold.
