Introduction

The Zhalong Nature Reserve located in China is one of the world's largest reed wetlands and is known as the homeland of the red-crowned crane. The reserve is filled with numerous rivers and lakes, lush water grass, and is a natural habitat for various water birds. The best time to observe the cranes is from June to September when their numbers are the highest. Additionally, one of the unique performances in Zhalong is releasing 20 to 30 red-crowned cranes.
