Introduction

Upon entering the gate of the central agencies in Yangjialing Valley, the first thing that catches the eye is the agency auditorium, surrounded by tall pines and built against the mountain. Designed by Yang Zuocai and built by the central agencies in 1942, this building is divided into three parts: the hall, the ballroom, and the lounge. The office building of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is located to the left of the auditorium, with a conference room and a war research room on the first floor, the offices of comrades such as Li Fuchun, Yang Shangkun, and Wang Shoudao on the second floor, and the Politburo conference room on the third floor. Important meetings of the Central Politburo are often held here, where important documents are drafted and passed, such as Mao Zedong's speech at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art. Chairman Mao's old residence is located on the slope to the right of the central office building in Yangjialing Revolution Site. In the courtyard, there are three west-facing stone kilns, one of which is an office, one is a bedroom, and the other is for staff. During his stay here, Mao Zedong wrote many important articles, such as "Oppose Surrender Activities," "On New Democracy," "Revolutionizing Our Learning," and "Rectifying Party Style," and led the resistance against the Japanese. All of the above are true historical facts.
