Introduction
According to legend, Xima Terrace was located in the south of Xuzhou City. In 206 BC, Xiang Yu declared himself the king of Western Chu and established his capital in Pengcheng (now Xuzhou). He built a high platform for horse racing and watched his soldiers train on the mountain in the south of the city. Later, people called this place "Xima Terrace", which was divided into east and west courtyards with the Fengyun Pavilion as the center.
The east courtyard houses a 2.9-meter-high stone statue of "Chu Shi Sheng Chun", showcasing Xiang Yu's heroic spirit. The west courtyard is home to a huge tripod inscribed with the words "Ba Ye Xiong Feng", symbolizing Xiang Yu's extraordinary talent and strength. In addition, there is a naturally formed giant boulder that resembles a general looking up and shouting to the sky, or a huge skeleton. Therefore, this rock is called "Xiaotian Stone" or "Renjie Guixiong Stone", reminiscent of the quatrain by Li Qingzhao: "Born to be a hero among men, even in death, a ghostly spirit he retains. Still I think of Xiang Yu who, unwilling, crossed the river to the east." Address 1 Xiangwang Road, Hubushan, Yunlong District, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province
