Introduction

The Weishan Lake Wetland Red Lotus Scenic Area is located in Binhu Town, Tengzhou City, with a total area of 90 square kilometers. It is one of the largest, most pristine and beautiful lake wetlands in northern China, and is known as the most beautiful wetland in China. The area boasts 55 kilometers of shoreline, rich species resources, over 100,000 acres of wild red lotus, tens of square kilometers of reed marsh wetland, and rare water forests. Whether you want to experience the water town style, feel the wetland atmosphere, enjoy the ecological scenery, or relax your mind, Weishan Lake is an ideal tourist destination. The Aquatic Plant Park covers an area of 500 mu and showcases nearly a thousand species of aquatic plants from both north and south China. It is the largest aquatic plant park in northern Jiangsu. Here you can visit floating leaf plants such as water lilies, lotus seeds, and water lilies, as well as emergent plants such as cattails, reeds, water chestnuts, and bird of paradise. The Wetland Drifting Park offers two types of drifting: calm water drifting and rapid water drifting. Calm water drifting is warm and comfortable, while rapid water drifting provides visitors with a thrilling experience and a sense of challenging nature. The Lake Sightseeing Park has thousands of acres of red lotus, ten miles of reed marsh, and two island groups, Panlong Island and Fishing Island. The islands are clustered together, with boats competing for the currents and dotted with white sails, creating a magnificent sight. The Weishan Lake Wetland Museum consists of three exhibition halls: the Introduction Hall, the World Wetland Hall, and the China Wetland Hall. It will help visitors to understand the functions of wetlands and the scientific value of wetland plants.
