Introduction

Yuhua Palace Scenic Area is located in the Yuhua Mountain in the central part of Shaanxi Province. It is part of the Qiao Mountain range at the border of Shaanxi and Gansu, 55 kilometers away from the Huangdi Mausoleum and 120 kilometers from Xi'an. The surrounding transportation is convenient, with expressways, national roads, and railways leading directly to it. The total area of the scenic area is 230 square kilometers, with the first phase planned to cover 32 square kilometers. The forest coverage rate reaches 95.6%, mainly consisting of natural oil pine forests, which is one of the three major oil pine forests in Northwest China. The altitude ranges from 1240 to 1671 meters, and the average temperature is about 10 degrees lower than that of Xi'an, making it a natural summer resort. The scenic area boasts both beautiful natural landscapes and historically rich cultural relics. It was once the summer palace for three emperors during the early Tang Dynasty, and the place where the great monk Xuanzang translated scriptures, propagated Buddhism, founded schools, and attained nirvana. The scenic area is grand in scale, attracting officials from far and wide, and was once renowned in Chang'an. It has now become a AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national forest park, and a key cultural relic protection unit of the country. In recent years, the scenic area has undergone development and construction, with a forest sea as the backdrop, Buddhism as the core culture, and features different seasonal landscapes and tourism activities, gradually forming a comprehensive tourist destination with a green theme.

Take a bus from various city bus stations to Tongchuan bus station (Chuankou of Beiqu district), then transfer to the Yuhua Palace tourist special bus at Beiguan bus station by taking the No.1 or No.2 bus to get there. 2. Take the No. 2 tourist bus at Zhengda Road in Tongchuan New District (west side of the municipal government) to get there.
