Introduction

Mingyue Mountain is divided into five parts: the Tanxia area at the foot of the mountain, and the four mountain peak areas of Taiping Mountain, Tangjia Mountain, Yangshan, and Yujing Mountain at the top of the mountain. Here, there are unique peaks and cliffs, waterfall streams, high mountain meadows and other natural scenery, as well as many Buddhist and Taoist religious buildings. Along the mountain climbing route, there are five waterfalls and scenic spots such as Baoyue Pavilion and Jinyue Lake. The most famous is the Yungu Feipu, one of the waterfalls with the largest drop. The high mountain meadow of Taiping Mountain is a rare natural landscape in the Jiangnan region. Visitors staying in the scenic area can enjoy the beautiful sunrise of Taiping Mountain.

From June 20, 2021, to June 20, 2024, the scenic spot offers free admission for all in-service police officers with their own "Police Officer Card" from all levels of public security agencies in the province.
