Introduction

The Qingjiang River is the birthplace of the ancient Ba people and the mother river of the Tujia ethnic group. There is a poem that describes the beauty of Qingjiang: "The three-hundred-mile Qingjiang River is as beautiful as a painting, and the three-hundred-mile Changyang is like a gallery." Hence, it is named the Qingjiang Gallery. Tourists can take ancient-style boats within the scenic area to enjoy the spectacle of the canyon and karst landforms on both sides of the Qingjiang River. There are two tour routes available in Qingjiang Gallery. Route A includes attractions such as the Qingjiang Grand Buddha, Reverse Reflection Gorge, Xianren Village, and Wulou Zhonglishan, with a round-trip time of about 4-5 hours. Route B is similar to route A, but does not include the Wulou Zhonglishan attraction, with a round-trip time of about 2 hours. Tourists can disembark and explore Xianren Village and Wulou Zhonglishan, while other attractions can be enjoyed by taking a boat ride in Reverse Reflection Gorge or viewing the Qingjiang Grand Buddha from the river surface.
