Introduction
Sansha, located in the coastal area of Fujian Province, is a very important place. Gutzlaff Harbor, located in the northeastern corner of Sansha Town, is a famous deep-water port. The port is 800 meters wide and 2,500 meters long, with a main channel depth of 15-44 meters, calm waters, and can accommodate large ships of tens of thousands of tons. Nowadays, Gutzlaff Harbor has become a docking port for large passenger ships traveling between Shanghai and Fuzhou, with frequent ship traffic, greatly facilitating the connection between Xiapu and the north and south. Sansha faces Taiwan across the sea, with the same language, close blood relations, and similar customs. Fishermen from both sides often fish in the same waters. Many Taiwanese compatriots come to Sansha to repair ships and more and more sea traders, making Sansha an important port for Fujian Province's trade with Taiwan.
