Introduction

This ancient town was established during the Song Dynasty and is now the best-preserved group of Ming and Qing dynasty buildings in Nanning. Located on the riverbank, the ancient town used to be a commercial hub spanning almost a hundred kilometers, with several docks. Unfortunately, transportation is now limited, and the commercial atmosphere has faded. Upon entering the town, visitors can see countless Ming and Qing-style mansions and many historical sites. Although the town is not large, there are still over 700 Ming and Qing dynasty buildings. However, many historical sites are already unknown to people.
