Introduction

This Miao village has a hundred households and is proud to be known as the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Song and Dance Art" and one of the "Top 100 Open-air Museums in China." Here, you can discover the unique clothing characteristics of the Long Skirt Miao and learn about the importance of the Langde Upper Village as one of China's fifth batch of key cultural heritage protection units. The village is nestled among mountains and water, and is quieter than the Xiaojiang Qianhu Miao Village. Enjoying the toast song, Miao flying song, reed pipe dance, and other Miao dances is also an unforgettable experience.

Transportation

Take a direct shuttle bus from Kaili Washimahe Bus Station to Langde for 9 yuan per person. The bus departs every hour and the journey takes about 40 minutes, passing through Nanhua Miao Village and Jidao Miao Village. If the direct shuttle to Langde is not available on the day, you can take a bus from Kaili to Leishan for 12 yuan per person. The bus departs every half an hour and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at Langde intersection and walk for another 10-20 minutes to get to the upper village. Renting a car from Kaili costs about 100 yuan.
