Introduction
Shangqing Ancient Town is located in the Longhu Mountain Scenic Area, 25 kilometers away from the downtown area of Yingtan. It has a thousand-year history and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and natural landscapes, making it a pleasant scenery spot. Shangqing Ancient Street is 2 kilometers long and concentrated with numerous historic sites, such as Changqing Alley, Liuhou Temple, Tianshifu, Liuhou Mansion, Tianyuan De Pharmacy, and Catholic Church. The stilted buildings and ship docks along the riverside showcase the unique charm of Jiangnan water town. To the east are Shangqing Palace and Dongyue Palace. Across the Lixi River in Guizhou Village is the hometown of Xia Yan, a prime minister in the Ming Dynasty, and a historic witness to the convergence of the 11th Red Army and the Central Red Army. If you go to the Tianmenshan Ecotourism Zone 4 kilometers away from the ancient town, you can also enjoy the original forests, waterfalls, and ancient dwellings.
