Introduction

Contemporary Chinese literary, calligraphic and artistic masterpieces are displayed in the Changde Poetry Wall Park. This wall, which is known as the world’s longest art wall, has received the honor of "Guinness World Record". The six-mile-long poetry wall is divided into six major chapters, including "The Wisdom of the Past Centuries" and "The Praise of Famous People", and includes 1,267 Chinese and foreign famous poems related to Changde since pre-Qin era. The poetry and calligraphy are presented in a calligraphy format, written by 948 calligraphers from all over China, including artists from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, in five different calligraphy styles. In addition, the poetry wall also features 43 Chinese and foreign stone murals, creating a rich artistic atmosphere. In the evening, various activities are held in the poetry wall park from time to time, attracting many parents to bring their children to visit.

Take bus routes 2, 25, 38, or H13 and get off at the "Paiyunge" stop. Walk approximately 315 meters to reach the destination. Take bus routes 1, 2, 6, 14, 31, or 32 and get off at the "Renminlu Xiananmen" stop. Walk approximately 233 meters to reach the destination. Take bus routes 2, 13/13B, 14, 39, or H13 and get off at the "Shuixinglou Shangye Guangchang" stop. Walk approximately 430 meters to reach the destination. Take bus routes 1, 6, 7, 25, 31, 38, 58, or H13 and get off at the "Buxingjie" stop. Walk approximately 397 meters to reach the destination. Note: Most of the buses in Changde are unmanned and the ticket price is 2 yuan/person, exact change is needed. The bus IC card can be used for a discounted ticket price of 1.5 yuan/person.
