Introduction

Gezhouba ship lock refers to the gate set up for the Gezhouba Dam navigation project, which is used for ship traffic. As the first large-scale water conservancy hub project on the mainstream of the Yangtze River in China, the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub is known as "the first dam of the Yangtze River for thousands of miles." This navigation project adopts the form of "two lines and three locks". Since its navigation in June 1981, it has been used as an anti-regulation navigation ladder project to cooperate with the construction of the Three Gorges Project, which greatly improves the navigation conditions of the 120-kilometer water area in the Three Gorges area of the Yangtze River, and enables many cargo ships to enter and exit the Chuanjiang safely and smoothly.
