Introduction
HeXia ancient town, located in the northwest corner of Huai'an District, Jiangsu Province, is one of the core protection areas of Huai'an historical and cultural famous city. It was once called Beichen Town at the ancient end of Kangou, where the ancient Hangengou flows into the Huai River. This is where historical figures such as the heroine Liang Hongyu and the great literary figure Wu Cheng'en were born. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a total of 67 jinshi, 123 juren, and 12 Hanlin scholars came from here, known as the "home of jinshi". The cultural heritage of this small town is very profound.
