Introduction
Qianfo Mountain, along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake, is listed as one of the "Three Great Attractions of Jinan". It is a branch of Mount Tai, with undulating peaks and lush trees, though not very tall. One of the main attractions is the Wanfo Cave, which houses almost 30,000 Buddha statues, including a 28-meter-long reclining Buddha. The cave also features exquisite murals displaying the profound cultural essence of Buddhism. The mountain climbing route usually starts from the north gate, and it takes less than an hour to reach the top, providing a panoramic view of the entire city. During the third day of the third lunar month and the ninth day of the ninth lunar month each year, there is a week-long temple fair, featuring performances of gongs, drums, martial arts, and Shandong fast talk, among other things.
