Introduction

After generations of scholars' study and verification, people recognize that the most magnificent and beautiful building in the Yuanmingyuan is the grand architecture with themes from fairyland pavilions. In the front of this scenic area, three pavilions with triple eaves are shaped like a mountain protruding into the lake. The world-renowned fairyland Qiongge landscape can be seen here, and the theme building is a temple. The layout of the entire building complex, both in plan and interior, adopts a strict symmetrical layout, and the central axis connects the two groups of buildings in the north and south into a whole. Another scenic area located to the west of Fanghu Shengjing is the picturesque Santianyue, one of the top ten scenic spots in West Lake that was replicated in the Yuanmingyuan.
