Introduction

During the Ming Dynasty, Wanfo Temple was built, but it was later destroyed by water. The current temple is a later reconstruction and was reopened in 2007. The temple is located in the southeast direction of Xingyi City and adjacent to the Wanguo Scenic Area. The cave has various landscapes, as well as statues of Buddha, Maitreya, Guanyin, and Dizang, and buildings such as the Daxiongbaodian, Miledian, Guanyindian, Dizangdian, Zhaitang, and Keting. The cave can accommodate more than 10,000 people and is considered an important Buddhist activity site in the three provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan, and Guangxi. It is also a famous natural cave temple dojo.
