According to research, the Jieshi Palace Ruins is the largest of the six ruins in this area. It was once the site where Emperor Qin Shihuang stayed during his eastern tour and is the main building of the entire site. The famous "Jieshi Gate Inscription" was engraved here, and the touching legend of "Meng Jiangnu Crying on the Great Wall" is also passed down.
