Hebei Beidaihe National Wetland Park is located in the coastal area of Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is a wetland ecosystem formed by relying on Beidaihe Wetland Tidal Flat, Xinhe River system, and 15,000 acres of coastal protection forests. It mainly consists of shallow sea waters, intertidal sand and stone beaches, estuary waters, permanent rivers, ponds, lakes, and marshlands. The total area of the park is 306.7 hectares, of which the wetland area is 165.67 hectares. It mainly includes nearshore and coastal wetlands, river wetlands, marsh wetlands, and artificial wetlands. Its unique geographical location and abundant wetland and forest resources make it a paradise for various rare bird species and a green barrier for urban ecological environment.
Repulse Bay
