Transportation

Driving: Take the Jing Shen Expressway, and shortly after passing Shanhaiguan, you will see the sign for Wanjia Town. Exit the expressway at the Wanjia Town exit, pass through the intersection with National Highway 102 and continue south on the newly constructed 8-lane street for about 5 kilometers until you reach Zhimaowan. The one-way journey takes about 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take the Coastal Expressway from Tianjin and exit at Qinhuangdao without taking the Jing Jin Tang Expressway. By train: There are many trains from Beijing to Shanhaiguan, and mini-buses are available to take passengers directly to the seaside of Zhimaowan. You can discuss accommodation prices with the driver on the way. Dongdaihe Railway Station is now in use, and it only takes about two hours to reach Dongdaihe Station from Beijing or Shenyang on a high-speed train, and it takes about 10 minutes by taxi to reach Zhimaowan.
