Introduction

Xingtan was built to commemorate Confucius' teachings. Kong Daofu, the 45th generation descendant of Confucius, supervised the construction of the Confucian Temple and moved the main hall backward, creating a place called "Xingtan" and planted apricot trees around it. This place symbolizes the glory of Confucius' educational ideas. Although Xingtan attracts many people to come to take photos because of its beautiful scenery, we can also stop and learn about the story behind this place.
