Introduction

The Imperial Kiln Site National Park is a site with rich underground relics, where a large number of porcelain wares from the Yuan Dynasty official kilns and various vessels from the Hongwu, Yongle, Xuande, Zhengtong, Chenghua, Hongzhi, and Zhengde periods of the Ming Dynasty have been unearthed, hence it is referred to as "the official kiln wares". These unearthed cultural relics record the common memory of ancient Chinese civilization and are a historical heritage worth exploring. Near the entrance of the city government, there is also the only ground relic left from the Ming Imperial Factory site - a stone well, which is also worth seeing. In addition, the Jingdezhen Museum is also a must-visit place, where the history from ancient times to the present is displayed, including the sequence of ceramic making, varieties of porcelain wares, classification and history of glaze. It is of great help for understanding Jingdezhen as a millennium-old cultural porcelain capital. Although there is only a very small site left of the Imperial Kiln Factory today, it is still a precious cultural heritage.
