Wuyuan County
Wuyuan not only has rapeseed flowers but also maple leaves. From October to December, the mountains are covered with brilliant red leaves, creating a paradise for photography enthusiasts. On one side, there are farmers drying bright red chili peppers and orange chrysanthemums on wooden racks, while on the other side, there are layers of maple leaves in deep and light shades, scattered in a harmonious blend of humanism and nature, making it a place that people never want to leave.
Yaoli Ancient Town
The light and shadow in Yaoli Ancient Town have always been obscured by Wuyuan, but it is because of this that it preserves its original beauty. Whether it is the Hui-style architecture in ink paintings or the simple and smiling locals in the town, they will gradually make you fall in love with this place.
Mount Maoshan
Located within Shangrao City, Damaoshan Scenic Area has a main peak with an elevation of 1394 meters. It is known for its numerous peaks and deep valleys, as well as its forests, rivers, and waterfalls. It is often referred to as the "Nine Villages of Jiangnan" due to its resemblance to the famous Jiuzhaigou Valley. The roads are covered with leaves, and the sky and the earth are filled with vibrant colors. It is impossible to be indifferent to such a breathtaking scenery.
Tongyuan Gorge
One of the top ten scenic spots in Meiling, the area is home to over 300 water mills and more than 80 waterfalls. It features deep valleys, towering peculiar rocks, ancient trees entwined with vines, terraced fields covered in mist, picturesque villages, and the interplay of lakes, waterfalls, and springs, making it a great place to cultivate one's sentiment and relax.
Yaxi Village
The animated film "Big Fish & Begonia" showcases the magnificent landscape of Tianya Haijiao, the ancient wooden stilt houses adorned with red lanterns. In fact, the prototypes can be found in the Hakka earthen houses in Yaxi, where the autumn scenery is especially breathtaking.
