Introduction
Moonlight Square is located at the foot of Guishan Park in Shangri-La County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Although not large, it has a unique charm. During the day, visitors passing by can see many barbecue stalls and scenes of smoke. At night, it quickly transforms into a local Tibetan people's happy and leisurely destination. People hold hands and circle the square, dancing Tibetan dances, enjoying the joyful time together. On both sides of the square are the Diqing Red Army Long March Museum and the Diqing Museum. In one corner of the square stands the world's largest prayer wheel, with its golden color particularly dazzling, like a giant standing in the sky. According to local legend, turning the wheel three times while reciting the six-word mantra can bring happiness and health. In addition, there are horses, yaks, and Tibetan mastiffs playing around for tourists to take photos.
