Introduction

Huanggangliang is the highest peak in the Great Xing'an Mountains, located in the northeast of Keshiketeng Banner, Inner Mongolia, with an elevation of 2029 meters. Huanggangliang National Forest Park preserves the most complete form of the Quaternary glacier, with diverse glacier types, which is a typical valley glacier. In the Huanggangliang area, glacier relics such as cirques, U-shaped valleys, horn peaks, terminal moraines, lateral moraines, and glacial erratic boulders can be seen everywhere, and it is considered one of the most complete and valuable Quaternary glacier relics in terms of glacier landform and scientific research.
