Introduction

Every autumn, over 200 fragrant maple trees in Changxi Village turn bright red, some of which have grown for hundreds of years. The tall red maple trees are set off against the black and white Huizhou-style architecture, forming a unique red maple forest landscape and becoming a popular spot for photography enthusiasts. Due to its remote location, the well-preserved Huizhou-style architecture and its typical features have been retained. Although Changxi Village is extremely remote, there is no sign of any other village in any direction you go.

Transportation

Drive to Changxi, take the exit at Guchun Town on Jingwu Huang Expressway, and then turn to the county road leading to Qinghua Town. Soon you will notice a sign on the left side of the road pointing to Changxi. Go in that direction and follow the road for 12 km, which is quite bumpy with many hairpin turns. Be sure to honk and drive slowly. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Changxi Village by normal driving speed.
