Introduction
The Shandong Museum, located in the eastern part of Jinan city, is one of the earliest provincial comprehensive geology and culture museums in China. It covers an area of about 34,000 square meters and has a building area of about 21,000 square meters. The museum houses over 140,000 relics, as well as nearly 10,000 natural specimens with various categories on display. Its grand and elegant architecture combines ethnic style and modern art, becoming a unique scenery of Jinan's historical and cultural city. The museum exhibits a large number of ancient ceramics, bronze wares, calligraphies and paintings, oracle bones, Han portrait stones and other cultural relics. The important collections of the museum include the Red Pottery Beast-shaped Jar from Dawenkou Site, oracle bone inscriptions from the Shang Dynasty, Lu State Big Bi Jade from the Warring States Period, the bamboo scrolls of "The Art of War" and "Sun Bin's Art of War," and the Eastern Plain Han Tomb Murals, which are extremely precious. However, due to their rarity, some collections are only exhibited occasionally. The museum has a souvenir shop and cafe on the first floor, providing simple meal services, and each floor has water dispensers that provide hot water. If visitors get tired, there are many rest seats available inside the museum. Address No. 11899, Jingshi Road, Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province
