Introduction

The highest peak in Huangshan Scenic Area is Lotus Peak, the first of 36 major peaks, reaching a height of 1864.8 meters. Lotus Peak stands on the climbing trail between Yupinglou and Aoyu Peak, with undulating peaks and a magnificent momentum. The main peak is abrupt and the small peaks are clustered, like a newly blooming lotus flower blooming in the sky, hence the name "Lotus Peak". Along the way, there are excellent views of the peak, and there are cliff carvings such as "Truly a boon conferred by heaven", "Out of this world", "Well-deserved reputation", and "A miraculous spectacle in the sky". At the foot of the peak, there are Lotus Cave and Lotus Spring. Ming Dynasty poet Wu Chang once praised it as "One kind of green lotus spitting out crimson clouds, upright and flawless. From afar, the clouds in the sky roll up and reveal ten meters of flowers on the peak."

06:20-17:30 on weekdays from March 2nd to October 31st
06:00-17:30 on weekends from March 2nd to October 31st. 07:20-16:30 from November 1st to the following year's March 1st, every day. Note: During small holidays, the park will follow the weekend opening hours.

Transportation

Located in the Yuping Scenic Area of Huangshan Mountain, Lianhua Peak can be reached by hiking for about 2.5-3 hours from the entrance, passing by Yingke Pine and Yuping Tower.
