Introduction

The Yudaokou Grassland Forest Scenic Area is located north of Weichang County, Chengde City, adjacent to the Saihanba National Forest Park, and is a mandatory stop on the way to the latter. Spending approximately half a day here, visitors can drive into the grassland area and enjoy beautiful scenery such as grasslands, lakes, and pavilions with spring water, making it perfect for photography, picnics, and sightseeing. In addition, visitors can also enjoy activities such as horseback riding. The Yudaokou Scenic Area mainly serves as a warm-up for the Saihanba Forest Park, where visitors can first enjoy the scenery of the grasslands and forests and then continue north to fully indulge in the visual feast that the Saihanba Forest Park offers.

Transportation

Currently, there are no shuttle facilities in the scenic area, and self-driving is the most convenient way to travel. If you cannot self-drive, you can take a car to Weichang County and hire a car for sightseeing from the county, or take another car to the Mechanical Forest Farm and then hire a car to travel locally. Beijing-Weichang County: 1. Train: There are five trains from Beijing North Station to Siheyong Station near Weichang County every day, and one train from Beijing Station, with a hard seat price of around 50 yuan and a travel time of about 6-8 hours. 2. Bus: There are 12 buses from Beijing Liuliqiao Bus Hub to Weichang County every day from 5:40 to 19:30, with a travel time of about 7 hours and a ticket price of about 113 yuan. Arriving at the Mechanical Forest Farm: 1. There is a direct bus from Beijing Liuliqiao Bus Hub to the Mechanical Forest Farm at 9:40 every day, with a travel time of about 8 hours and a ticket price of 125 yuan. 2. There is a bus from Weichang County to the Mechanical Forest Farm at about 5:30-13:00 every day, with a ticket price of about 20 yuan per hour. Charter information: 1. Renting a small car for sightseeing at the Mechanical Forest Farm is about 350 yuan per car per day. 2. Renting a car for two days round trip from the county is about 500 yuan per day.
