Introduction

Yunju Temple, originally called "Zhiquan Temple", was built during the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty. Later renamed as "Yunju Temple", it covers an area of 0.07 square kilometers. After undergoing repairs from many generations, it has developed into five main courtyards and six halls. However, in the 1940s, Yunju Temple suffered destruction from Japanese military gunfire. After liberation, through two large-scale reconstructions, Yunju Temple, the scripture cave in Shijing Mountain, and Tang Liao Pagoda Group, have become a treasure house of Chinese Buddhist culture. Inside the temple, there is also an almost 40-year-old cherry blossom tree. When the cherry blossoms bloom in late spring, their beautiful petals complement the red walls and gray roofs, exuding an ancient and graceful beauty, as if a flowing and brilliant ancient painting.
