Introduction
Shangfangshan National Forest Park is located in Fangshan District, Beijing, with a total area of about 340 hectares and a forest coverage rate of over 90%. The park has about 625 plant species, including Chinese endemic species such as Dugencao, Qingtan, Mahu Tui Zi, and Zhimu, as well as rare Ginkgo and Shenggu oil. The park has a 2000-year history of Buddhist culture and is a comprehensive park that integrates natural landscapes, Buddhist culture, and caves. It is also a multi-functional scenic spot that combines mountains, forests, caves, temples, springs, museums, and pits. As one of twenty demonstration forest parks in China, Shangfangshan National Forest Park is the green gym of Beijing's Southwest Natural Plant Garden. Transportation Bus Route: Take the No.917 bus at Tianqiao and get off at Liangxiang or Fangshan, then transfer to the No.15 minibus (Changyang--Shangfangshan) for direct transportation.
