Introduction

Xizhaoshan Park is the most environmentally friendly and unique forest park among the nine peaks of She Mountain, with a total area of more than 800 acres and an altitude of nearly 100 meters. The natural scenery, religious culture, bamboo forests, and peaks here attract tourists from both China and abroad. The She Shan Shrine is a Chinese-style Catholic church that is as famous as the Notre-Dame de Lourdes in France. It was built in 1935 and adopts a four-no structure without wood, nails, steel, or beams. It is an asymmetric architectural model and also a world-famous Catholic holy place and the most important pilgrimage site for Catholics in China. At the top of Xizhaoshan's mountain, there is also a towering Catholic church with a altar and a statue that can accommodate more than 500 people. The circular square in front of the church can accommodate 1,000 people, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery around it. On the west slope of the square, there is also a wide-open space with three pavilions, namely the Jesus Sacred Heart Pavilion, the Virgin Pavilion, and the Joseph Pavilion.

Take bus or subway line 9 to Sheshan station. Hangzhou City-Xi Sheshan Garden. Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway → Shanghai-Kunming Expressway → Shanghai Ring Expressway → Shen brick highway → She Tiankun highway → Xi Sheshan Garden (about 2 hours and 4 minutes in total).
