Introduction

Chonggu Temple is located at the foot of Xianren day Snow Mountain, at an altitude of 3880 meters. The construction date of the temple is unknown. Currently, the temple has been severely damaged, only leaving ruins. Next to it, there is a two-story building where the lamas are responsible for managing the accommodation of tourists and protecting the surrounding ecological environment (it is now difficult to stay there because of the scenic area regulations). The first floor is guest rooms and lama rooms, and the second floor is a scripture hall where tourists are not allowed to enter. Every morning and afternoon, the lamas will light incense and chant scriptures. When the scriptures and the sound of musical instruments resonate in the valley, this place becomes even more sacred and mysterious.
