Introduction
Located in Dazhangshan Township in Wuyuan County, the Wuyuan Shicheng Red Maple Leaf Scenic Area is known as "the most beautiful village in China". It is 58 kilometers from the high-speed railway station in Ziyang Town in Wuyuan County and 55 kilometers from Wuyuan North Station. The scenic area has won many awards, including "China's Top Ten Popular Maple Viewing Sites", "Eastern China's Number One Maple Fairyland", and "Red Maple Homeland, Confessing to Shicheng".
There are two villages in the scenic area: Cheng Village and Dai Village. Dai Village is crossed by a historic stone slab postal route, while Cheng Village is hidden in antique buildings with pink walls and dark tiles. A small hill separates the two villages, and ancient maple trees decorate the back of each village, presenting their unique landscapes. In Cheng Village, ancient maple trees surround it on three sides, and a limestone hillside on one side is covered in morning mist, reflecting the cooking smoke in the village, creating a dreamy and enchanting illusion that is favored by photography enthusiasts.
Mid to late November is the best time to visit Wuyuan Shicheng Village to see the red leaves. At this time, the maple trees turn red, the scenic area is dotted with red maple leaves, and morning mist and cooking smoke linger, creating a fairyland-like scene that provides excellent shooting opportunities for photography enthusiasts. Transportation 1. There is no shuttle bus directly from the high-speed railway station to the Shicheng Hongfengye Scenic Area. You need to take a taxi to Wuyuan North Station, and then take the shuttle bus to the Shicheng Scenic Area.
2. If the shuttle bus from Wuyuan North Station to Shicheng is not available, you can take the shuttle bus to the Lingyan Cave Scenic Area, which is 6 kilometers away from the Shicheng Scenic Area. You can then take a nearby car to the Shicheng Scenic Area.
3. Guests staying in the county town who want to take photos of sunrise, red maple, and mist need to go to the scenic area before 5 am.
