Introduction

Hanauma Bay in Hawaii is the best destination for tourists to enjoy diving. The water is shallow and the waves are small, but there are a variety of natural coral reefs and tropical fish. "Hanauma" in Hawaiian means "curved", and as its name suggests, it is a curved bay. The bay was formed by volcanic rocks that fell from the sky during the initial formation of the Hawaiian islands. Due to erosion by seawater, this volcanic relic has become a beautiful blue bay. The bay is almost circular and looks like a sleeping dinosaur from afar, hence it is named "Dinosaur Bay". The local government has designated the entire bay as a natural reserve to protect the fragile marine ecology of the area. Even without diving equipment, visitors can still enjoy the beautiful coral reefs by snorkeling with a mask and breathing tube.
