Introduction
The Havana Cathedral Square, built at the end of the 17th century, is located in the Old Town area of Havana, the capital of Cuba. The largest church in Cuba, the Baroque-style Christopher Columbus Cathedral, is located on the north side of the square and visitors can visit it in the morning. To the west of the square is the Restaurant El Patio, which was originally a Marquis mansion built in 1751 and is an ideal place to taste a sunny breakfast or a candlelit dinner. In the alleyway to the northwest of the square is a small hotel that Hemingway frequently visited, now renamed $Street Small Restaurant, where travelers can taste Cuban Mojitos. To the east of the square are the Marquis of Arce and the Count of Lombillo mansions, built in 1746 and converted into Havana's first post office. The unique mailbox here, made of stone and in the shape of a mask, is still in use and adds to the mailbox's uniqueness. The south side of the square is the Count of Bayona mansion, built in 1720 and now converted into a colonial art museum, which is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a ticket price of 2CUC. This is an ideal starting point for exploring the Old Town area. Address Cathedral Square, La Habana Vieja, Havana, 100, Cuba
