Introduction

Since its opening in October 1989, Jeju Botanical Garden has become one of the popular tourist attractions on Jeju Island. The garden covers an area of over 34,000 pyeong, including a 38-meter-high observation deck, a 3,800 pyeong greenhouse, and the world's largest glass greenhouse. The outdoor garden consists of four folk gardens and various theme parks, with over 2,000 species of sub-tropical and tropical plants on display, and four seasonal plant exhibitions held every year. In addition to the indoor botanical museum, visitors can walk to explore the outdoor garden. However, the garden is quite large, and visitors can choose to pay 1000 Korean won to take a sightseeing train tour, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Tickets for the sightseeing train can be purchased automatically in a small booth behind the train stop.
