Introduction

The museum is divided into four exhibition areas: the natural history area, folk culture Ⅰ, folk culture Ⅱ, and outdoor exhibit. The natural history exhibit showcases 3D displays of marine life, fossils, rocks, plant and animal relics, and other natural historical artifacts unique to Jeju Island, helping visitors better understand the island's natural and cultural features. The folk culture Ⅰ exhibit displays 2381 items, allowing visitors to learn about the evolution of the lifestyle of Jeju Island residents, as well as an introduction to traditional architecture, specialty foods, and festival ceremonies, showcasing the ancient lives of Jeju Island. The folk culture Ⅱ exhibit showcases 100 exhibits, including traditional tools used in ancient daily life, materials used in festival ceremonies, and various rocks composed of volcanic rocks. These exhibits allow visitors to experience the wisdom and lifestyle of ancient residents of Jeju Island. The outdoor exhibit area displays more natural landscapes, allowing visitors to personally experience the beauty and uniqueness of Jeju Island. Visiting the museum can provide many interesting insights and also help visitors better understand the history and culture of Jeju Island.
