Introduction

Starting from Nanyue Temple, climb up the Panshan Road, pass by Ban Shan Ting and the Ye Hou Academy, and you will arrive at Nantianmen. Nantianmen is divided into a central gate and left and right Sichuan gates, with the "Nantianmen" three large red characters above the central gate and the characters "Xingyun" and "Shiyu" carved on the horizontal beams of the left and right gates in a very neat and eye-catching manner. Standing at this position, you can overlook the distant mountains and dense forests, and this is also the best viewing point for watching the "Hengyue smoke and clouds".

Transportation

Nantianmen is located in Hengyang City, about 8 kilometers from Nanyue Town. After passing the Halfway Pavilion and not far from the Yehou Academy, you will arrive at Nantianmen. If you are not climbing the mountain, you can choose to take the cable car or tourist bus from the Halfway Pavilion to Nantianmen. The one-way cable car costs 40 yuan and the tourist bus up the mountain costs 10 yuan.
