Introduction
Naozhou Island is the largest volcano island in China, formed by a submarine volcanic eruption about 200,000 to 500,000 years ago. The island boasts the famous tourist attraction Nayan Hai Beach, a perfect natural beach for swimming. In addition, Naozhou Lighthouse is one of the world's three famous lighthouses, known alongside the London and Cape of Good Hope lighthouses. There are also many other scenic spots and historical sites worth visiting, such as the remains of the Song Imperial City, Xianglong Academy, Ba Jiao Jing, the Song Imperial Tablet, and the Song Imperial Pavilion. The island is rich in resources and is a fertile fishing ground on the continental shelf of the South China Sea, producing valuable seafood such as Naozhou abalone and lobster. The island's fishing port is also a thriving attraction, with hundreds of fishing boats moored in the harbor. At night, the port is lit up with lights and filled with the sounds of fishermen singing, like a "city in the sea" made up of boats. If you visit the island, don't miss this lively sight.
