Xidao fishing village
Xishan Island is located in Sanya Bay, Sanya City, and is the second largest island after Dazhou Island (Wanning City). It is known as a "seaside paradise and amusement park" and is a popular tourist destination. Xishan Island has the advantage of being close to Sanya, but the downside is that it is also very close to Sanya. Many years ago, it was a peaceful and beautiful fishing village, but now it has developed into a chaotic place. As a friend who has just returned from there put it, Xishan Island was so fun back then, even more enjoyable than Wuzhizhou Island, but now it has turned into something unrecognizable. However, if you are patient, not short of money, and able to stay there for a few days, there can still be different gains.
Qionghai Tanmen fishing village
Surprisingly, the beautiful fishing village known as Tanmen Town is located in the eastern coastal area of Qionghai City in Hainan. Tanmen Port is also known as the "National Civilized Fishing Port" and the "Millennium Fishing Port". Tanmen Town has been a fishing village since ancient times, and there is a saying that goes "China's seafood is in Hainan, and Hainan's seafood is in Tanmen". The tempting seafood in Tanmen Town can be the most important reason to visit here.
Tenghai Fishing Village
Also known as Houhai Fishing Village, it is adjacent to Wuzhizhou Island. The beach still retains its undeveloped original appearance. This place used to be a paradise on earth, where people talk about everything. Just hearing the name of Houhai makes people feel a bit longing. It is the only place in Sanya where my friends ask me for recommendations. There are many hostels and surf shops, which are popular among foreigners. In the past, the buildings were chaotic with wires and poles everywhere. There was a house at the corner with the sign "rental". Many fishing boats are docked at the harbor, and you can buy seafood when the boats come back. It still has the taste of a lively market.
Xincun Fishing Port
Lingshui Xincun fishing port is famous for its natural harbor. At dawn, fishing boats for offshore fishing operations enter the port one after another. Fishermen are busy moving baskets of fresh fish from the large boats onto the small boats, and then onto the shore. Thousands of fish vendors on the coast are waiting for their goods. Weighing, bargaining, bookkeeping, laughter, noise, and hustle and bustle, scenes like this start at three o'clock in the morning and continue until noon every day.
Baimajing Fishing Port
Baimajing is an ancient town with a history of over 2000 years. Legend has it that General Fubo and his army landed here and couldn't find fresh water, but his white horse dug a well. Hence the name "Baimajing" has been preserved. Baimajing Fishing Port, located at the entrance of Danzhou Bay, is adjacent to the Beibu Gulf Fishery and faces Yangpu across the sea. The deep inland bay can effectively weaken the power of typhoons. Therefore, it has been not only an important fishing port along the west coast of Hainan, but also a sheltered bay in Hainan since ancient times.
Xin Ying Gang
New Ying Town is located near the Beibu Gulf, inside the Hou Shui Bay, also known as the "first bay of Hainan's offshore raft fishing", facing Vietnam across the sea. It is a relatively prosperous coastal town. In particular, Lin Gao seafood has a unique way of eating called "earth pit seafood" or "smashing stove". It involves smashing a hot clay stove, covering it with a lid to cook seafood, as well as roasting sweet potatoes, chicken, duck, pig's trotters, and other delicious food.
