Introduction

Dazu Rock Carvings is a group of stone carvings consisting of Baodingshan, Beishan, Nanshan, Shizhuanshan and Shimen Mountain, but generally speaking, people refer to Baodingshan Rock Carvings as Dazu Rock Carvings. These Buddhist-themed stone carvings are very beautiful and spectacular, each carving has its own story, and all of them are painted with colors, appearing very lifelike. The Buddhas in the stone caves not only have very vivid expressions and gestures, even the tassels on their clothes make people feel like they will be blown up by the wind at any time.
